Interior Constellations

Interior Constellations is a body of work exploring the psychic terrain of domestic life — the quiet, unseen, and emotional architectures we carry within us. Each painting and drawing traces the invisible fields of memory, longing, embodiment, and dream that exist beneath ordinary spaces: the living room, the kitchen, the body itself.

These interiors are not just rooms — they are vessels of ancestral memory, subconscious mappings, and cosmic echoes. Walls pulse with old emotions. Furniture grows eyes. The body is pictured as a constellation, a portal, a place where inner and outer geographies collide. The work draws inspiration from domestic surrealism, mystical embodiment, and the visceral textures of lived experience, creating a language where rooms, organs, and landscapes merge.

As an artist and mother, I am interested in how domestic spaces hold psychic imprints — and how women's inner worlds, in particular, form constellations that shape family, place, and memory. This work reflects the tension between containment and expansion, between the ordinary and the cosmic.

Through paintings that feel both familiar and strange, Interior Constellations invites the viewer to enter the deep, unseen spaces of home — not just the physical structures we inhabit, but the emotional and spiritual architectures we build inside ourselves.
